Please inform the Playleaders of any on-going medical condition that may affect your child during his/her time at Playgroup.
Any child receiving medication for a high temperature should not come to the playgroup until they are well again.
Parents must notify the Playleaders if their child has been in contact with, or develops, an infectious disease, e.g. chickenpox, gastroenteritis, impetigo etc., or if the child becomes infected with headlice or threadworm. Certain illnesses have set exclusion times.
In the case of vomiting or diarrhoea, children should not attend until at least 48 hours after the last episode.
The Health Protection Agency document giving guidance on infection control in schools and nurseries can be downloaded here.
